Visit to Helsinki will be different

I was very sad to learn from my colleagues of Annika's passing. I was always happy to meet her for a coffee or a drink in Helsinki and listen to her unsparing radiography of integration issues and institutions in Finland. When she made the leap from academia to public policy she was so enthusiastic about being able to make a difference and to propose concrete projects to change people's lives. OECD work on integration in Finland will be sadder in her absence. So will my visits to Helsinki.
